God is full of surprises!
As most of you know, I am no longer on staff at the Sheil Catholic Center. Much to my surprise, I’ve experienced a tremendous amount of grace and peace about this career move, and I am grateful for the tremendous support of friends and professional colleagues as I continue the job search.
I am also incredibly grateful, during this time of transition, to have the opportunity to travel to Nicaragua once again. As I look at job possibilities, I consistently find myself drawn to mission-driven organizations. And ever since summer, my Fabretto friends have been asking me to visit. What a privilege it will be to journey with our Sheil students and to share this experience with them!
This year marks my 10th trip to Nicaragua. When it comes to going on mission, there is one thing I tell our students every year: Be prepared to be surprised. No one is more surprised this year than me!
Thank you for supporting our mission – to love, to learn, to serve, and to walk in solidarity with our brothers and sisters around the world. The money we raise first goes to pay for our trip expenses. Any additional money will be given to Fabretto to support their programs in Nicaragua. Your financial contribution is greatly appreciated.
Please know that I hold you all in prayer and ask you to pray for me as well. Thank you for your generous support!
