Tirol Mountain Getaway (Austria)
Escape with an 8-night stay at a 3 bedroom, 3 ½ bathrooms
with wireless internet home in Igls, Austria. Igls is a Village of 2,500 people
four miles south of Innsbruck, site of the 1964 and 1976 Winter Games. Igls was
the venue for the men’s downhill and the bobsled and toboggan events. Not only
a winter playground, Igls draws even more visitors during the summer season. The
Village is 3,000 feet above sea level. As the capital of the Austrian Province
of Tirol, nearby Innsbruck is the center of culture in the area. Enjoy the stay
with up to six people (please no children under age 10) in a non-smoking
environment. Igls is a two hour drive from Munich airport and just 25 minutes
from the Italian boarder. There are daily direct flights from Chicago to
Munich. A car is a practical necessity and an all wheel drive is strongly
