Fr. Kevin Feeney, Sheil director, Tim Higgins, campus minister and Sister Belinda Monahan OSB, director of RCIA will accompany eight students on this mission trip.  

We look forward to this mission opportunity to immerse ourselves in the culture and beauty of this area of the country.  As a small faith community, missioned from Sheil, we look to build relationships with the people at the border, with those who serve them, and with one another. We intend to look, listen and engage the real situation of those living at the border, as well as those seeking to cross the border. In our daily reflections, we will reflect on the principles of Catholic Social Teaching and share how the experience is challenging and encouraging our growth in faith. We will seek to love those that we meet and love one another in Christ. This is a "learning-service trip" we will learn from the people that we meet and with whom we collaborate. We will be changed by our time at the border, and hopefully will be Catholics with an enlivened faith upon our return.
