The Sheil Catholic Center is the Catholic outreach on the campuses of Northwestern University. We are a faith community of students, faculty, staff and associates who together offer a welcoming place for worship, celebration of sacraments and pastoral care. We promote education and spiritual growth, as well as provide opportunities for service and leadership within the academic setting. Each year, the Sheil Catholic Center sponsors an alternative spring break trip to New Orleans where we work in collaboration with Catholic Charities of New Orleans. All of our volunteers are students, and many of them rely on the support of our scholarship funds. Any money raised above and beyond their trip expenses will be given to Fr. Tony Rigoli OMI at St. Jude’s Shrine, our host in New Orleans. Fr. Tony works’ extensively with the many homeless in the city. We are grateful for any gift you can contribute!
